We have just finished several activities with Thanksgiving themes, like:

I am Thankful For... (essay)

Should Stores Be Open On Thanksgiving (position paper, statement)

Creating a Thanksgiving Character.

 

We are just starting some activities with a Christmas theme, 

- door decorating contest

- Overly Verbose Christmas Song Titles

- Writing assignment using music

Model Math is completed daily; teaching students a new or different way to see the answer to common math questions like those found on the CAHSEE or state testing. We have also added a daily Algebra skills warmup that will refresh or remediate Algebra skills students have previously learned.

NOTICE: The CAHSEE has been suspended for this school year through 2018. Therefore current students in grades 9-12 are not held to passing this test as a requirement for graduation.

Also, past students who did not graduate due to not fullfilling this requirement may now be eligible to receive their high school diploma. Please contact your high school for further information.
