Fort Irwin Middle School

Mr. Tierney is the Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies teacher at Fort Irwin Middle School. He graduated from California State University Fullerton obtaining his BA in Liberal Studies, MS in Education, and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. This is going to be Mr. Tierney's first year as a teacher with his own classroom.

 

Mr. Tierney believes that school is a place that promotes personal success, by preparing students academically and for their life ahead of them. To do this we as a school staff/family will seek to support, encourage, and enlighten our students. Mr Tierney believes in the use of peer assisted learning in the classroom as a means of giving students the confidence and encouragement they need to succeed.
