CRESTLINE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
UNIFORMS ARE REQUIRED EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK.
The only exception will be on picture days.
Friday – Students may exchange their uniform top for a current Crestline T-Shirt if they choose.
Shirts – white, gray, black, dark, medium, or light blue – one solid color. (No aqua, turquoise, or teal.)
Shirts must have a collar such as dress shirts, polo shirts, or turtle necks. Shirts may not be longer than the longest finger when hands are at their sides. Shirts may not reveal midriff when hands are raised above head. Undershirts need to be uniform colors. This also includes any visible layers. All visible clothing needs to be school colors.
Pants – khaki, black or navy blue – one solid color.
No jeans, sweatpants, pajamas or jogging pants allowed.
Pants must be worn on the waistline.
All pants must fit properly and not sag below the waist or drag on the ground.
Shorts / skirts / skorts / capris / jumpers – khaki, black, or navy blue – one solid color, no embellishment (sequins, studs, lace, etc.) All bottoms must be worn on the waistline. Shorts, skirts, skorts and jumpers must be longer than the student’s fingers when hands are at their sides.
Shorts (uniform colors) must be worn underneath skirts.
Leggings/Tights
Leggings or tights can be worn under skirts, but may not be worn as pants. Leggings and tights must be solid uniform colors (no stripes, polka dots, etc.)
Jackets, sweatshirts, cardigans, or sweaters
Any clothing that is worn inside the classroom must be uniform colors and have no logos.
Shoes
Footwear must meet the BUSD Dress Code Requirements.
Hats
Only BUSD principal approved hats or caps may be worn. Caps/hats must be plain color with either Crestline logo or no logo. Hats or caps may not be worn in the classroom or inside school buildings. Hoods (hoodies) that are attached to shirts/sweatshirts/jackets may not be worn in the classroom or inside school buildings.
For your convenience our PTO has found a couple great web-sites that sell uniforms www.cookieskids.com , www.frenchtoast.com , and www.walmart.com . Family Fashion, Old Navy, and Walmart will stock uniform items for your convenience.
**Students who are in violation of the school’s dress code will be given a
LOANER garment that will be labeled as such and must be returned at the end of the school day.**

UNIFORMES SON NECESARIOS TODOS LOS DÍAS DE LA SEMANA.
La única excepción serán en los días que saquen fotografías, y
el día Viernes : los estudiantes, si desean, pueden usar la camiseta con el logo de la Escuela.
Camiseta (o playera) Un SOLO color de camisetas: blanco, gris, negro, o azul oscuro, mediano, o claro.
Camisas deben tener un cuello como las camisas de vestir, camisas de polo, o cuellos de tortuga. Camisetas no pueden ser más largas que el dedo más largo, cuando las manos se extienden a lo largo del cuerpo . NO se pueden mostrar partes del cuerpo, cuando las manos se alzan por encima de la cabeza. Lo que se use debajo de la ropa debe ser del mismo color que el uniforme. Esto también incluye las capas visibles. Toda la ropa visible debe ser de los colores de la escuela.
Pantalones - caqui, negro o azul marino, de un solo color .
No serán permitido los pantalones vaqueros( jeans), pantalones deportivos, pijamas, o pantalones para trotar.
Pantalones deben ser usados en la cintura.
Todos los pantalones deben ser de la talla apropiada, y no deben usarse debajo de la cintura, o que se arrastre por el suelo.
Pantalones cortos / faldas / falda pantalón / pantalones debajo de la rodilla / jumpers de un solo color , caqui, negro, o azul marino. TODOS los pantalones o faldas deberán usarse en la cintura. Pantalones cortos, faldas, falda pantalón y deben ser más largos que los dedos del estudiante, cuando las manos se extienden a lo largo del cuerpo.
Pantalones cortos deberán usarse debajo de las faldas.
Polainas/ Mallas (leggings)
Polainas pueden ser usados bajo faldas, pero no pueden ser usados como pantalones.
Chaquetas, sudaderas, cardiganes o suéteres
Cualquier ropa que se use en el salón debe ser de los colores del uniforme y no tener logos.
Zapatos
Calzado debe cumplir los requisitos del código de vestimenta del Distrito Escolar de Barstow.
Sombreros
Sólo sombreros o gorras aprobado por un director o principal del Distrito Escolar de Barstow (BUSD) pueden ser usados. Sombreros o gorras no pueden ser usados en el salón o dentro de edificios escolares. Gorros que estén unidos a chaquetas de sudaderas, playeras, camisetas, o chamarras NO pueden usarse en el salón o dentro de edificios escolares.
Para su comodidad nuestro PTO ha encontrado un par de sitios en la internet que venden uniformes. Os sitios son www.cookieskids.com, www.frenchtoast.com y www.walmart.com. Family Fashion, Old Navy y Walmart tendrá uniformes para su conveniencia.

Cold Weather Uniform Policies
1. Long sleeved shirts, pull-over sweaters and sweatshirts must follow the uniform dress code for Crestline.
a. All tops must be white, gray, black, dark, medium, or light blue.
b. Shirts must have a collar such as dress shirts, polo shirts, or turtle necks.
c. Undershirts need to be uniform colors.
d. All visible clothing needs to be school colors.
e. Pull-over sweaters and sweatshirts must be a solid color, listed above.
2. Jackets, sweatshirts, cardigans, or sweaters
a. Any clothing that is worn inside the classroom must be uniform colors and have no logos.
b. Jackets that are worn out of doors need to follow the BUSD Dress code guidelines.
3. Please make sure your child’s name is on their sweaters, jackets, and coats. We have quite a few in the lost and found, so if their names are clearly marked on them, we can get them back to the students.
