Fort Irwin Middle School

Mrs. Motes is new to Fort Irwin Middle School and is excited to be teaching 7^th Grade Language Arts this year.  She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in History from Troy University and her Master’s Degree in Education from Western Governors University.  She believes in a quote by Rita Pierson, “Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.”  She is looking forward to encouraging her students to dream big.  She believes that working together, the teachers, administration, and parents can help these students accomplish any goals they set.
