The mission of the Silver Valley Alternative Education Center is to provide all students an alternative educational setting, where the individual needs of each student are addressed through the access of California state standards-based \ aligned curriculum and federal mandates as measured by the Academic Performance Index (API) and the Adequate yearly Progress (AYP)
