Ideas and tips from yesterday's classroom walkthroughs:
- Use of Adobe Reader, view the screen shots and tutorial on this link. Send a pdf to your email, open in Adobe Reader and the possibilities are endless.
- Take photo of a text out of a book and open inEducreations for highlighting, circles, notes, color-coding.
- Did you know Educreations has lined paper, graph paper or coordinate grids? Tap on the lower left hand bottom and discover the backgrounds.
-
A couple of iPads could not connect to the Internet even though the wireless icon indicated full strength and settings indicated BUSD wireless. Here is how I fixed their connection and good trouble-shooting tip for you to have:
- Go to Settings, Wi-Fi
- At the extreme right of the BUSD Network is a greater than symbol in white and blue. Tap the arrow.
- Toward the bottom of the screen are the words Renew Lease. Tap this. it will ask a confirming question, tap Renew.
- Return to Safari, clear out existing pages (as sometimes they are too many open) and your Internet connection should be working.
